Hello, and welcome to the DIY effect. We are a fun loving family that enjoys all kinds of DIY (do it yourself) projects, and our two dogs Otis and Lucy are a big part of the DIY effect. We all have our own talents which include sewing, gardening, cooking and baking, party planning, home improvements, costume DIY'S, creative gift wrapping, making movies, to name a few. When we get together, the ideas flow and no telling what we come up with.

If you've ever thought about doing a fun video with your dog, then check out our Talking Dog DIY. to see the video of Otis and Lucy having lunch (photo above). Along with the video is a step by step tutorial on how we did it. They sat at a table (on chairs) wearing clothes and pearls. They're sitting in front of a plate of spegetti topped with a healthy sauce and sprinkled with a little kibble. They were so good to sit there for several minutes while we were setting up the final details. The outcome was better than we could have planned. Then theirs the 1950's Retro Summer Party skit where Sue decides to have a party, but desperately needs help, so she calls on her friend Beverly. All is going well except Sue made one huge mistake.
